Vitalie Damascan: «Without FC "Sheriff "nothing would have happened»
Last interview with Vitaly Damascan before flying to Italy:
- I am grateful to everyone who helped me get to FC "Sheriff". I think if I did not get here, nothing would have happened in my life, from what I can now be proud of. In Tiraspol I spent an excellent career stage. I worked, I progressed. And I want to thank everyone who helped me grow. Without them, this would not have happened. Also, thanks to the president of the club who managed to give us players the conditions that many will envy, the director of the club Vazhe Tarkhnishvili, that he believed in me.
- What were the most memorable moments in your career in FC "Sheriff"?
- Of course, the first match, the first goal scored, in the match with Zimbru. It was beautiful, and I remembered it. Then two championship titles with FC "Sheriff", a victory in the Cup of Moldova. And of course, the crazy results in the European League. All this can not be erased from memory. These memories will stay with me for life.
- Today you say goodbye to the team, with teammates. What did you tell them?
- Of course, I say goodbye to them, thank them for being close. Without them, I would not have achieved anything. Without the team, I'm absolutely no one. I am very grateful to them. Wished them good luck, no injuries, all good and only victories. We will keep in touch.
- What words do you have for the fans?
- I want to express my gratitude to all the fans. They were always there, and during successful matches, and when we did not succeed. Let each match there will be more. I respect them very much, and I will miss them.
- You are moving to the Championship of Italy. What are you waiting for, what are your goals for yourself?
- Now it's hard to talk about this. I have not yet seen the team and new partners. And ate large. First of all, you need to quickly join the team. Also, I really want to progress further, and, of course, I want to play. It will not be easy. But, only by setting big goals, you can achieve something.
