Viacheslav Posmak: «FC Sheriff is a positive stage in my development»
The first interview of the defender of the national team of Moldova Vyacheslav Posmak as a player of FC "Sheriff".
- Viacheslav, welcome to FC "Sheriff"! What can you say about your new stage in your football career?
- After the completion of the contract with FC "Dacia" received a proposal to continue his career in FC "Sheriff", and I accepted it. The Tiraspol club has great ambitions, in particular, to win every match in the National Division and European competition. So I decided that my football career should be connected with this club, as a positive stage in my development.
- How did you end up in football?
- In my childhood I was an active child and in football was due to parents. They interested me and instilled a love for this wonderful game. True, I started acting late professionally, I was 18 years old. However, it's never too late to do what you love.
- It is known that your spouse is a professional referee and judges football matches in Division-A. What role does football play in your family?
- For us, football is everything! This is our element and we really love this game.
- Already on July 12 in Tiraspol the match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League will take place. Thanks to what qualities will we be able to defeat FC Kukesi and go to the next round of this prestigious tournament?
- FC Kukesi is a difficult opponent and this year they demonstrate good football. We will pass them through an organized game, quick attacks and ball control. The main thing is to open an account for goals, but do not miss it ourselves.
- The upcoming championship will be a transition to the system of spring-autumn. In your opinion, how will this affect the championship race of FC "Sheriff" with the main competitors?
- I think we, like all the teams in the championship will be somewhat more difficult. The upcoming season will be shorter than usual and all teams will have less time to recover. I think this is the determining factor in the championship race.
