Today, the first game of the Moldova national team took place in the group stage of the next UEFA  League of Nations 2022/2023. "Tricolors" defeated away Liechtenstein. In the very debut of the game, Ion Nicolaescu converted a penalty kick, while Vadim Bolohan scored in stoppage time.

 

FC Sheriff goalkeeper Dumitru Celeadnic remained on the bench in this match.

 

Moldova will play the second match in group "D" with the national team of Andorra. The match will take place on June 6 in the capital - Andorra la Vella.
