The Moldavian youth team, Under-21, was defeated with a score of 0: 3 in the second qualifying match against the European Championships. The rival was Croatia.
 
From the players of FC "Sheriff" in the starting lineup came Evghenii Oanchea and Vitalie Damascan (pictured). Both spent on the field all 90 minutes of the meeting. Maxim Bardis remained on the substitute bench. It is also worth noting that Vitalie Damascan was one of the three players of the Moldavian national team, who impressed the coach of the Croats with his performance.
