Score not corresponding to reality
FC Sheriff finished the first part of the championship of Moldova in the National Division winning FC Academia by the score 1:0. Despite minimal scoring, Roberto Bordin’s team owned the advantage.
Attacks were coming on the visiting team one after another. First goal was scored on 14th minute. Brezovec beautifully delivered the penalty leaving no choice for the goalkeeper. Before the break our team scored twice but from an offside position.
In the second 45 the visiting team was more active. However, it did not influence our team’s attack. By the middle of the half the score should have been huge. But that did not happen due to inaccuracy of our players and obvious luck of Academia players.
Ginsari shot passing by the keeper but defenders cleared from the goal-line. Savic made a good shot on the fly but defenders did their job again.
With this minimal win our team left for vacation but there is going to be the most important part of the tournament.
