Records are falling
The match against Zimbru in the 31st tour of the Moldova Football Championship in the National Division became a game that will go down in history thanks to the repetition of the FC Sheriff club record.
The goal of Rifet Kapic in the 68th minute of the match became the 98th in the season of the National Division. Thus, the 2013-2014 record was repeated. In the next matches, another achievement may fall - in the number of goals scored in all tournaments per season. At the moment, the wards of Yuriy Vernidub have hit the rivals' goal 111 times (98 in ND, 9 in the Moldova Cup and 4 in European competition). The club's record is 113 goals scored.
Only Zimbru Chisinau scored more goals in one season of the National Division. In the 1996-97 season they scored 112 times, and a year earlier (1995-96) - 110. Considering that there are 5 more rounds before the end of the tournament, it is possible that these records will fall.
