Moldavian National team has two matches in terms of the preliminary cycle for EURO 2016. Moldavian team hosts Russian team on October 9 in Chisinau and meets away Swedish players on October 12. Two FC Sheriff players are capped for these matches – goalkeeper Alexei Koselev and defender Maxim Potirniche. Maxim Potirniche is capped for the first time in the last three years.
 
FC Sheriff players are also capped to U- 21 Moldova. Vadim Paireli, Eugene Rebenja and Artiom Rozgoniuc are playing against Latvia. The match takes place in Orhei on October 11. FC Sheriff defender Valeri Macritchii is also capped, but due to his injury he can't take part in the match.
 
FC Sheriff goalkeeper Bojidar Mitrev was capped to defend Bulgarian National team in terms of the qualification for EURO 2016 against Croatia (on October 10) and Azerbaijan (on October 13).
