The head coach of our first team, Yuri Vernidub, starts a new countdown. FC Sheriff officially announces that an agreement has been reached between the parties, after which the club management and Yuri Vernidub signed the agreement, which extended the agreement until the end of 2024.

 

Yuri Vernidub became the head of our club in December 2020. In just 1 year he won the title of Champion and managed to break through with the team to the group stage of the Champions League, where he beat Real Madrid, did not lose to Shakhtar Donetsk and with 7 points took third place in the group, which included Milan Inter.

 

Under the leadership of Yuri Vernidub, Sheriff became the first and only team from the National Division to play in the spring part of the European Cup. Let us remind you that on the 17th and 24th of February in the Europa League play-off round the rival of our club will be the Portuguese Braga.
