The Competition Committee of the Football Federation of Moldova made a decision to suspend FC Sheriff Ivorian defender Marcel Metoua for two match days of the championship.
 
An incident occurred in the previous game of the championship against FC Zimbru on 61st minute, in the course of which Metoua pushed FC Zimbru player Alexandr Onike in the face. It should be noted that Onike initiated that conflict and received a yellow card for that. Our player was shown a red card.
 
FC Sheriff was also imposed a fine in the amount of MDL 1000.
