Luka Pavlovic became the head coach of the second team
Croatian specialist Luka Pavlovic became FC Sheriff-2 head coach. Previously Serghei Ragulin worked on this position and will now continue his work in Sheriff Academy. Pavlovic arrived in January this year and took the position of the Academy head coach.
Shota Makharadze, Denis Laptev and Andrei Lazu will assist the new coach.
Pavlovic studied at the Faculty of Kinesiology, graduated the University in Zagreb and first got the diploma of football coach and then fitness coach diploma. Luka Pavlovic has License A UEFA and PRO UEFA.
Luka Pavlovic got his football education in such clubs as Ajax, Bayern, Inter, Sturm, Partizan, Real Sociedad, Udinese, Chievo, Werder.
He spent his playing career in Yugoslavia. As for coaching experience, work in GNK Zagreb should be mentioned where he both worked as the senior team coach and Academy director. Pavlovic also worked in Football Federation of Croatia where he was involved into scouting for the first national team of the country and analyzed opponent teams while qualifiers for the World Championship – 2014. Pavlovic was the head of Croatian U-17, he and the team was entitled to play in the elite round of the Championship of Europe. In 2014 Luka was named the best coach among other youth national team coaches in Croatia.
