FC Sheriff head coach is now 41-year-old Moldavian specialist Lilian Popescu. He will officially start his work since June 1. 
 
His assisstants are Alexey Savinov and Marcel Reshitca. 
 
Lilian Popescu was appointed after the termination with Zoran Zekic. Miroslav Bojka and Denis Pudja also left the team. 
 
Previously Popescu worked in such clubs as Olimpia Beltci, Nistru, Costuleni, Veris and FC Tiraspol. In 2014 Lilian Popescu was recognized as Moldova's best coach. He also played for FC Sheriff in 1998/1999.
