Leonel Olimpio is another newcomer to FC Sheriff
Football Club Sheriff signed a contract with 31-year-old Brazilian midfielder Olimpio Leonel.
Leonel started his football career in Brazil in the team called “UniaoBarbarense”. He also played in such Brazilian clubs as Alagoas, Villa Rio and Boa. In 2008 Leonel went to Portugal in the club Gil Vicente. After playing there for one season Leonel was transferred to Pacos de Ferreira where he becamethe runner-up in the Cup of Portugal League in the season 2010/2011. Brazilian’s last club was Vitoria de Guimaraes in which he became the winner of the Cup of Portugal in the season 2012/2013, twice – runner-up of the Super Cup of Portugal, he also played 4 matches in UEFA Europa League group stage.
