- Gustavo, tell us about the match against Milsami, what was missing to achieve a positive result?

- The result of the match against Milsami, if you like, is very misleading. And all because it was our best game of the three held in the second half of the season. We created many scoring chances, attacked a lot. Unfortunately, we couldn't turn those chances into goals scored.

 

- What is the atmosphere in the team after the defeat?

- The story with Milsami, of course, is sad. Losing is always painful and embarrassing. Sometimes you do everything to achieve victory, but, in the end, you do not achieve the goal - this is one of the sides of football. We can rehabilitate ourselves this Saturday in the match against FC Sfintul Gheorghe and get three points away that we lost at home.

 

- In your opinion, what needs to be added to our team?

- I think we need to specify the game in attack so that our attacking actions end with goals scored. We had many opportunities, but the completion was not at the highest level. This is achieved through hard work. Everything can be improved with training. Me and my partners will work hard day by day to achieve our goals.

 

- How can you evaluate the beginning of the season?

- By and large, the beginning of the second part in the National Division is good. We played three matches and won two. Gap from rivals 7 points. But we have to keep working to score points and become champions - this is a delayed goal from last year, which remained for the season.

 

- What can you say about the interaction in the line of defense?

- Not only in defense - I think the whole team understood quite well what to do on the field. The old base of players in each line remained: defense, midfield and attack. We try to help new players, explain to them what Sheriff means both in Moldova and internationally. I think we will get better as we practice. Now we are fully focused on the match with Sfintul Gheorghe. Then there will be a pause in which I think we will continue to work on improving the game.

 

- What are your expectations for the next game - with Sfintul Gheorghe?

- I perceive all matches as a final, and all games are very important for me. With the team from Suruceni, we have to take three points that we lost at home in the game against Milsami. The topic of the last defeat is already closed for us. You need to continue to score points in the table in order to eventually win the trophy.
