FC Sheriff head coach Goran Sablic post-match against Milsami:
Good evening. The game was difficult. It wasn’t beautiful to watch for our spectators. It was obvious that the game meant a lot for both teams. In the first half, I didn't see the ball possession game I wanted to see. We lost in many clearances in the centerfield, had lots of errors in possessions. In the second half, we changed playing format and wanted to add more ball control. But in my opinion, the game didn’t look good. I can’t say that a draw is a good result. But if we can’t win, it’s better not to lose.
After the game against Zimbru, you said that after the 55-60th minute Sheriff looked bad physically. Do you think the same today too?
To tell the truth, you could see it from the game. I mean not only physical fitness. We don’t have enough quality in some positions. It’s a difficult period for us. But we must withstand. We have a game on Sunday. I’m sure it will be easier later; there will be time to work with the team. Now we play on every fourth day and don’t have time to work on physical conditions and other components. Only some rest and tactics work. You could see what players were fielded today. Two 18-year-old players. I won’t complain today, no time for that. But I think we will get rid of negative things. We feel difficulties, we have what to improve and we will work on it.
How are things with Yury Kendysh?
Yury has recently begun to play with other players. He was listed in the game against Zimbru. If he were ready, I would have fielded him as a substitute or in the starting line-up. We need time. The same are things with Petru Racu. The players who joined the team came after holidays. Today I fielded Rifet Kapic. He had a long pause as he has been training for the entire week.
There is an opinion that we must win over Torpedo Kutaisi. Does the team feel the pressure of this obligation?
Have you started to learn about the opponent?
Yes, we have.
