Football festival has completed
The international youth tournament Sheriff Cup 2017 has been over.
Sheriff Academy team, head coach Vitaly Mostovoy, took third place in the tournament. Conceding to FC Zenit at the group stage our players competed for bronze medals against FC Viitorul Romania. The game ended in a draw 1-1, and only in post-match penalty (6-5) Vitaly Mostovoy’s side were stronger than their peers from the Romanian city Constanța.
For the first place competed Dynamo Kyiv and FC Zenit St Petersburg. The game also ended even. The penalty shootout resulted in Dynamo Kyiv’s victory 5-4.
The places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Dynamo Kyiv
2nd place – Zenit St Petersburg
3d place – Sheriff Tiraspol
4th place – Viitorul Constanța
5th place - Legia Warsaw
6th place – Ludogorets Razgrad
