Finished the tournament with a victory
The youth national team of Moldova Under-17 finished "UEFA Development Cup", which took place in Minsk, with a victory over hosts of the competition, the national team of Belarus (1:0). This success, however, did not help our boys to rise higher than 3rd places.
Trainees of Sheriff Academy of Football became full participants of the victory. The goalkeeper Sergei Savochka and the defender Roman Skurtul featured in the starting lineup. Savochka was substituted on the 49th minute. Instead of him Andrei Filipov took the field. Roman Skurtul played 61 minutes. Dmitrii Pogreban appeared on the field on 51st minute.
Total arrangement of teams in the table is the following: Belarus – 5 points, the Solomon Islands – 5, Moldova – 4, Kazakhstan – 4.
