FC Sheriff congratulates David Mudzhiri!
FC Sheriff ex-player David Mudzhiri was appointed a General Secretary of Georgian Football Federation today. This decision was taken by the GFF Executive Committee.
David Mudzhiri is a person who scored the first goal for FC Sheriff in European cups. The goal was scored to Czech SK Sigma in terms of the UEFA Cup in 1999. The Georgian player being FC Sheriff player became the Champion of Moldova, the owner of the Cup of the country, the best striker of the championship in the season 2000/2001.
Local supporters love and remember him as a player with a very firm shot.
After leaving the team in 2001 the player transferred to Austrian SK Sturm, then to FC Krylia Sovetov Samara and Moscow FC Locomotiv. Mudzhiri was capped 26 times to the Georgian national team. Lately David Mudzhiri worked as a sports director in Georgian Samtredia FC.
