FC Dacia – FC Sheriff
In 32nd round of the National Division a central match took place between FC Dacia and FC Sheriff. The game did not influence the result of the standings but the teams were not going to give each other points.
FC Sheriff had a few problems with the team composition. Some of the main players did not go to Speia because of their injuries. The match was started actively on the part of FC Sheriff. Benjamin Balima was at the shooting position but the ball flew higher the goal. The second attempt of our team turned out as a scored goal. Balima sent a precise pass to the penalty area where Juninho Potiguar outplayed the defender and sent the ball in the far corner. It took 15 minutes for the home team to balance the scoring. Maxim Mihaliov sent a precise pass from the flank and Ivan Knezhevich scored in a second touch – 1:1. It should be pointed that it was a combat during the entire match. The referee showed nine yellow cards and one red card. On 37th minute after a flank attack of FC Dacia Mihaliov made a precise shot and gave the lead to his team.
In the second half FC Sheriff were more aggressive in the attack. On 55th minute Vadim Pairelli sent a fantastic pass to Benjamin Balima who left no chances for the goalkeeper. Potiguar had a chance to score if he could use the mistake by Ghenadie Mosneaga. FC Sheriff young midfielder Valery Macritsky made it a final after outplaying the player and making a great long-range shot – 2:3! Five minutes before the end of the match our team were left without Vadim Pairelli who got double booked. Last minutes of the match were organized in a good defense.
In the last round of the championship FC Sheriff is playing against FC Tiraspol who in their turn got silver medals in the championship leaving FC Zimbru behind. The match will take place at the small Arena of Sports Complex “Sheriff” at 18:00 on May 21.
