Dmitro Kara-Mustafa: "The task was to win and play without injuries"
Assistant head coach of FC Sheriff Dmitro Kara-Mustafa about the match with FC Floresti:
- There was a lot of nervousness on the bench. Were you dissatisfied with the performance of the team, they were not included in the game today?
- Our main task today was to win this match, before the match with Real Madrid, not to get injured, and so that after a long pause (many players left for the national teams, some played little, there was practically no training process) the players entered the game tone. Plus, the field is slow. I would not say that there was nervousness. The implementation was poor. The moments were good. Well, it's bad that we missed this ball.
- Do you think that these pauses before the match with Real Madrid, or even pauses for national teams, are out of place?
- It is not our fault that there are pauses for the national teams, they are introduced by FIFA and UEFA. Everyone had a long pause. We prepared, trained. I repeat once again, it was important for the players to get in good shape. We will prepare for Real.
