The youth national team of the Republic of Moldova Under-19 finished the group stage on Valentin Granatkin Memorial in St. Petersburg on the second place. The team which is trained by Oleg Fistikan lost to Russia with the score 0:1 in the last match of the group A.

Trainees of Sheriff Academy of Football Danila Ignatov and Evgheni Pleshko came on in the starting lineup and played the whole match. Evgheni Gliga appeared on the field on the 89th minute. The goalkeeper Mihail Choban remained on the bench.

4 points in the group did not allow to reach the semi-final. The rival of the national team of Moldova in the tournament for 5-8 places will be defined tomorrow.
