Colombian defender Danilo Arboleda Hurtado, who signed the employment agreement with FC Sheriff, answered questions of the club's press office about himself, his choice of career and adaptation after moving from Colombia.

 

- Danilo, please accept our congratulations and share your emotions after signing a contract with the club.

- Thank you very much, I am happy to be in Tiraspol and in FC Sheriff. The infrastructure of the club is at the highest level. I like everything here.

 

- Before that you only played in Colombia, why did you decide to move to Europe?

- I told my family that I want to move to Europe and try my hand at other countries and championships. I want to grow in football terms, joining a new club will only benefit me.

 

- Why did you choose FC Sheriff?

- I consulted with Frank Castaneda on this issue, we played for Deportivo Cali. He spoke very well of the team. I listened to him and agreed to move.

 

- How is your adaptation to the weather conditions of our country going, for sure you have never seen snow?

- The snow turned out to be a joyful surprise for me, I was extremely surprised when I saw it. In general, the adaptation is going well, I interact with the club and try to get used to everything new.

 

- Tell us about your play as a defender.

- I like to play on this position. I like to get the ball a lot, be constantly involved in the game, destroy the opponent's attack, change flanks in positional possession of the ball, and of course, score standarts.

 

- Sheriff is a regular participant in European competitions. Are you ready for these matches?

- I've always dreamed of showing myself in such tournaments. Morally I'm ready for this. Now we need to quickly adapt and undergo the necessary training.

 

- Do you have anything to say to our fans?

- I promise to the fans to prove myself and give all the best that I can to the team. Today they cannot be with us at the stadium, but I am sure that they warmly support us in front of the TV screens during the games of the Championship and European Cups.
