The match with FC Zimbu became the 50th official match for striker Cyril Bayala in the FC Sheriff shirt.

Burkinets reached this mark in two periods of appearances for our club. Cyril joined FC Sheriff in the winter of 2017, helped the team to get through to the group stage of the Europa League, after which he left for France. He returned to Tiraspol last summer.

After the game, Biala commented on his 50th game: “I am very happy to have played 50 matches. It is an honor for me. Unfortunately we didn't win today. This is soccer, but next time we will definitely win.”

Bayala has scored a total of 12 goals in all competitions.
