Today, one of the first congratulations in honor of the 25th anniversary of FC Sheriff came from the Football Federation of Moldova.

 

The General Secretary of the FMF, Nicolai Cebotari, presented the Director of CJSC SC Sheriff, Vazha Tarkhnishvili, with a commemorative sign in honor of this event.

 

“What your club has done this season in the international arena is a great achievement for the club and the entire Moldovan football. This once again proves the professionalism of each employee of FC Sheriff. You are on the right way,” said Nicolai Cebotari.

 

Over the 25-year history, FC Sheriff has won 36 trophies in the domestic and international arena, and also became the only Moldovan club that managed to break into the group stage of the Champions League, the Europa League and the spring part of the European tournament.
