By airplanes, steamboats... Youth of FC Sheriff reached Norway
The youth team of Sheriff Academy, Under-19, arrived late last night in the Norwegian city of Sogndal, where on Wednesday they will play the second leg of the second round of the UEFA Youth League.
Five hours in the air, with a transfer in Istanbul, where we could get acquainted with a new, gigantic size, but at the same time very convenient for connections airport. They say, we did not check the information, only in September 6 and a half million passengers passed through it.
The hitch happened already in Oslo, the Norwegians drived up late a bus for our team, and departure to Sogndal was delayed for an hour. And then there was a long 7-hour journey, through the expanses of Norway, through the mountains, 7 kilometer tunnels, through the snow, but surprisingly, dry roads. Norway deserves a separate story.
Surprise awaited the team 25 kilometers from Soпndal. In order to get to the Fjord, we had to wait for the ferry. And the Norwegians have no problems with this, everything comes on schedule. Already after midnight, our young men reached Sogndal.
Today, the team will have two training sessions (one official in the evening), acquaintance with a quiet city and rest. About all this you can learn on our website.
