Today, the Football Federation of Moldova announced the names of the Best Football Players in Moldova at the end of 2021.

 

FC Sheriff and the players of our club received most of the awards. And here they are, the winners:

 

Best Goalkeeper - Georgios Athanasiadis

Best Defender - Cristiano Da Silva

Best Midfielder - Sebastien Thill

Revelation of the Year - FC Sheriff

Top scorer - Frank Castaneda

The best coach - Yuri Vernidub

Forward Adama Traore became second in the Best Forward nomination.

 

This year FC Sheriff won the 19th title of the Champion of Moldova and became the first team to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League. In addition, our club was the first in history to make it to the spring part of the European competition.
