Ben Qadir Abou Ouattara: "Ready to work hard and progress"
The first newcomer of the first team, winger from Burkina Faso Ben Qadir Abou Ouattara spoke about himself, about his decision to move to FC Sheriff and a little about his career:
- Abou, you have already signed an agreement with FC Sheriff - are you happy to be part of the new team?
- First, let me thank the management of the club and the entire administration of the team for giving me the opportunity to become part of the yellow-black family. Yes, I am very glad that I was accepted into the team, I will try to give all my strength for the sake of the club and, of course, the fans.
- What influenced your decision to move to the camp of the Champions of Moldova?
- I learned about the Tiraspol team not today - I have heard Sheriff for a long time. Benjamin Balima and Cedric Badolo helped to get to know the Champion of Moldova better. They form the image of the club. Plus Cyril Bayala played here. We all followed the success of the club in the last Champions League. They became interested in me and I am glad about it, I am ready to work hard and progress.
- You were born in Bouake, Côte d'Ivoire - how did it happen that you play for the Burkina Faso national team?
- Yes, it is, my mother is from Côte d'Ivoire, and my father is from Burkina Faso. At some point, we had to move to Burkino Faso, when I was still a child. Growing up, I entered the academy. Since then I have been playing for Burkino Faso. Today I am more Burkina, but on a subconscious level there is always love for the place where I was born.
- After a short break, you were again called up to the national team for the test match against Belgium. Happy with this event?
- The breaks are connected with changes in the coaching staff of the national team. At some stage you fit into the team, at some stage you don't have a place in the clip. The head coach has benn recently changed and I was again called up to the national team. It is an honor for me to defend the colors of the national team, I am very happy about this event.
- You moved to us from France, played in the second league for Valenciennes ...
- In France, I started with Lille, then moved to play in Portugal. After an injury, returned to Lille again, and later ended up in Amiens. The last club in France was Valenciennes. In the beginning, everything went great. I got a lot of playing time and was satisfied. Later, the coach of the team was changed, with whom I rarely took the field. Despite this, I am grateful to Valenciennes for all the time I spent at the club, I learned a lot of new and interesting things for myself.
- How do you see yourself in the new team and are you ready for competition?
- We grow only in competition, only in this way professionalism increases. You need to work in training and follow all the instructions of the coaches. In this way, I want to show that I am ready to play, ready to bring results for the club.
- The three main individual factors for a successful game from Abou Ouattara?
- The speed of decision-making on the field, the speed of their execution and effective implementation.
