The end of the year is time for summing-up. Different football-related organizations receive awards for being the best of the best.
 
Sports Press Association of the Republic of Moldova handed out their awards. As was expected, the Best Team Award was received by FC Sheriff.
 
Next day, The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research presented their own awards. And here again, The Best Team of the Year nomination was won by FC Sheriff.
 
We’ll remind that in 2017 our club won two Moldova Championship titles, The Cup of Moldova and didn't advance to the Round of 32 for the Europa League final only on additional records, that is by getting 9 points in the Group F league table.
